Nikon Omega scope hard recoil

I was wondering if anyone has had any problems, recoil related? Also does the BDC 250reticle work as avertised?

The scope works just fine and the scope works as advertised.  I have one on my Encore and have quit a few rounds down the tube. I use 120 gr. of triple 7 powder.

My Omega scope did fine with 125 grains of American Pioneer powder and 250 grain bullets..................

RH...Which Bullet do you find best works with your encore? Got the new PH 28" in .50 cal...also got the 7mm.08 and the .300win mag with it too. I havnt orderd the Scopes yet but was gonna Monday...Figure Ill order the bullets too while im at it. I know My omega REALLY liked the Powerbelts But Ive heard that the PH barrel really likes those TC ones in 250 grain. Ill be using either t7 or American pioneer powder and of course work up from 100 to mag load 130 if it likes it. If memory serves 130 is = to 150 of BP or Pirodex. And Im glad someone asked this question cuzz I was thinking about that scope for mine...Now I dont have to ask and can order it with the other 2 oops 3 (got ma new .444xlr toy too)  ;D

I am using the T/C 250 Bonded Shock Waves over 120 gr. of loose triple 7 in my Pro-hunter. I am getting MOA at 100 and 200 yards. I have not done any shooting bast 200 yards yet with this set up.
Everyone knows I am a Leupold fan, but Nikon did there homework on this scope.

MOA works for me...TY RH.....Ill see how good it works onna Pig too  ;D... Yeah Nikon has really took the scope world by storm....Tizz what I have on All my firearms... I dont generally shoot past 200 yards anymore but it does look like a nifty gadget ;D

thanks for the info mine likes so far 140 gr loose t-7 & 250 gr shock wave 1.25 inch 100 yards  factory trigger straight 6 scope   any more info on qty trigger jobs ?

You are about 20 gr. of loose triple 7 powder over the recommended 120 gr. max.
120 gr. of loose triple 7 is equivalent to 150 gr. of T7 pellets.

Thats a bad boom boom waiting to happen...20 grains over is HIGHLY overcharged....T7 burns a lil slower that Pyrodex and BP so it creates more pressures....140 grains is a breech blow waiting to happen there bud...At the very worst the Plug could blow out the back and take half yer head off
