Will a Glock cycle the bird-shot loads CCI makes? Want to shoot snakes?

Nope, at least my .45s won't. No big deal to hand cycle the slide. I usually carry a .38 snubbie loaded with shot for that task. The shorter barrel patterns a bit better than the longer ones, still lousy, but fairly effective to 10' or so.

I carry a 26 when I go out in the desert prospecting and tried the birdshot once. It sucked! Good pattern but it just wont recycle. Just got to be more careful when snakes are out in the summer time. I went back to using golden sabre bullets and so far "no snakes". They must know something by now!
