My hunting partner shot a "massive" 20 pounder last Saturday afternoon. I remarked that he should get a new pair of glasses and take a closer look before shooting next time. I am rethinking that remark now that the little boar has passed the "BBQ test".
The hams and shoulders were about the size of a pair of large chicken legs. When skinned my youngest son said that it looked a lot like a bobcat. The whole butchering process took about 15 minutes, cleanup was a breeze, and I have to say that it was one of the better eating porkers we have had.
With litter mates numbering in the teens, shooting a piglet (or two or three) is a very goog deal as table fare. If the oportunity presents itself, don't pass it up.
