after a very good cleaning the blueing is at 95% or better and I buffed the stock with a little fine compound and all scratches are gone and it shines like a new nickel.what a differance an houre of cleaning and buffing makes. it still has a very small ding on the forarm (about the size of a BB) a customer at the lot saw me cleaning it and want's to buy it .I'm going to take it out and shoot it sunday and if it's any good I'll keep it ,even though it's a little glitzy for me .
if not I'm sure I can double my money when I sell it .

I suppose for $300 it ain't a bad deal, but in the competitive world of premium rifles it is just another failure. They couldn't sell enough of them at their inflated price to make a go at it.

Hmmm well I know that they were made in Japan as a friend has one in .270 which he brought many years ago and it shoots very well indeed. His is also like new as he has taken very good care of it and later brought a much plainer Ruger 77 in 6.5x55 as his "to go" hunting rifle.
As for values
?? sorry cannot help.

Mounted a Nikon Monarch 3-9x40 on it and sighted it in at 200 yards with Weatherby 180 grain ammo. rifle can group 1 1/2 inch at 200 yards (3 shots let cool for 20 min and 3 shots again) it's a keeper.
