Hey guys,anybody got one yet this deer season with your xbow?I've been working a whole lot and have not got to go like I would have liked too.Been 3 days and saw a total of 7 deer.All does:at least I think all were.Two of the deer were in thick cover and they could have been "nubbins".Any way no shot at anything.All 7 were in the same place,so maybe I'll get lucky next weekend :)........Rick

Shot a nubbin buck the same trip my friend shot a doe with his bow. The Excaliber Worked as I figured it was fast enough at 20+ yards that even with the deer looking towards me he did not jump until hit. Took a front angle shot. Worked well easy to track and lots of blood. Gonna go out a few more times before rifle season. I normally would have passed on this deer if I only had one tag but I had 4 tags at the time I shot this one so why not. I like Venison too well to pass up what I felt was a good oportunity. Got a fork horn that was given to me also ( sign up list for a metro eradication hunt) so I have a good start to ample Venison  in the freezer. Still I enjoyed breaking in the Wolverine. More fun to shoot your own deer.  :)

I got a 7 point piebald buck last monday with my Excalibur Exocet 200. I can`t use it everywhere in the state(yet) because I am not handicapped, but can use in near Pittsburgh. I love crossbows :)Jack.

I got a nice, fat 6-point with my Horton.  That's the second deer I have shot with the crossbow and both were clean kills and rand less than 20 yards.  We had venison meatloaf just the other night.  My wife mixed in a some sausage and it was GOOD! ;D

I got an eight point yesterday morning with my Ten Point Titan crossbow. He came in to a Primos doe bleat call just like I had him on a string! It was about a 25 yard shot. The bolt hit his right front leg, broke it and continued on into the heart. I watched him run about 150 yards and go down. No tracking job and I was able to drive my tractor right to him. His carcass is at the butcher shop and his head and cape are at the taxidermist.
