Hi All,

I live up north and have never been catfish'n.  Sounds really great and I envy you guys.  Will some please post pics of your bigger catches?  I'd love to see just exactly what you guys are fish'n for.

Here's one out of the James River in Virginia.
It was mid 30s,as far as weight,but there have been some caught there up to low 80 pound range.

biggest we ever caught was on commercial tackle on the ouachita river just above camden on the outside curve bout 100 yds south of the old rail road bridge. sound for the deepest spot you can find about 15 feet from east bank there. it weighed 148 n half pounds.  others we caught were much smaller on average 40 to 60 pounds when high water was up n they were active. at normal 4 to 16 pounds were highly common.
