The old H&R put 2 on the ground. Mine hit the ground first, of course. The other half decided to out do me with her deer by size, and by longer shots.
... By keeping in the tradition, I started last year with a 10 pointer lordy forbid she had to get herself one too.
.... The only difference is my cost me more money than hers will to be put on the wall, my was a perfect 10. Hers on the other hand was a malfunctioned so called antlers 10 point
. Unfortunately i took her H&R last year and she could not find a stainless barrel with a camo stock, so she is shooting a traditions (it might not shoot as good, but it still killed 2). We have both limited out in Black powder before the end of season this year. She has gotten one buck with archery,,,,
So she is ahead of me for the year, SO FAR
, We each shot two bullets each this black powder season and have brought home two deer each, not to bad so far, but hopefully by the time rifle season gets here she wont see me fix the scope just a little bit.
.. I better do something about her and this shooting or she will outdo me. Guess I better get to the range more often.
My first deer was a doe at 40 yards. My buck was at 50 yards. Seems pretty easy right. And smarty britches decided that she was not going to be outdone. She decides to shoot her first doe approximately 130 yards. She takes some salt and rubs into an open wound by getting her buck at approximately 100 yards. (According to the range finder.) And she wants a new high powered deer rifle

Im might be in the market for a high powered rubber band gun if anyone has one for a lefty woman I have in mind.
.. I am really proud of her but I get the bigger deer during rifle season...... JB...
