Stevens 200 in 22-250
« on: October 31, 2006, 04:14:46 PM »
Im looking at buying a Stevens 200 in 22-250.  I want a light weight rifle for ranch work and use as a truck gun. The cost is great at $275 but I dont know anything about these firearms. Any info would be great.  The trigger seemed ok with a little creep. Ill put a 3-9 scope on it, sight it 1 inch high at one hundred yards and call it good. Thanks for your help.

I'm very pleased with my 7-08 and 25-06 Stevens, great rifles for the money.

I am looking at getting one in .270 and recently handled one. I really wanted it, but couldn`t get past the stock .Why on earth would they pick that ugly of a stock for it, Black would have been better than that color of Grey-Ick!! I am still thinking about it though :)Jack.
