I never even heard of it. But then again, CVA had alot of models that lasted only a year and sold only a few. For instance, the CVA Zouave rifle. I actually had one for a few weeks. (The Zouave, I have now is stamped Sears Roebuck & Co.) In the 1970's to about 1984, CVA had several different guns that were (unintentionally) limited production. CVA put out two dozen different pistols, some of which are very scarce. Like the CVA Prospector and the CVA Pioneer, both of which I think were only sold in 1984.
I have an old CVA catelogue that lists a 58 cal mountain rifle. I have never seen a Prospector or Pioneer pistol other than the catelogue pictures.
