Hi All,
Happy to say that the rifle performed and was a pleasure to carry up and down the mountains, GPS reckoned we walked over 20ks for the day,
Result one Tahr and 1 Chamois,

Here's one of Howard's previous posts on his .243 load, keep in mind that he's using ADI powder which for the most part, makes Hodgdon's powder. If I wanted to work that load up, I'd use Hodgdon's data for the 100gr bullet and H1000, starting 10% below their max.

Three days later and my leg muscles are still tender!
as per the load, which I didn't mention was ADI 2217 46grs was my most acurate powder weight. A couple more photos of the country,

Where were the pics taken Howard? It looks awesome. Anything looks better then the flat featureless terrain of north Texas though.

The hunt was on public land, Ben Ohau range between Lake Pukaki and Lake Ohau, central South Island, New Zealand.

Awesome pics Howard and some good shooting. Certainly looks like some rugged landscape, I can see why you choose a SuperLight
