500 S&W ammo?

Has anyone tryed the 300 Hornady evolutions out of there Handi or Winny's 400 gr'er Platinum Tips.I bought a box of the Hornadys they were REAL CHEAP :o $47.00 it's all the local gun shop carried.I'm getting my rifle from WM because I can use my discount.They can get the Platinum tips for a little cheaper.I was just wondering if they were any good.I'm going to reload for next year,but I'm going to use factory for deer this season.Thanks,Dave.

i use bullseye ammo in my 500 handi . it is loaded with 300 grain speer gold dots , i get good groups with mine at 50 yards and thats good enough for me . it retails for around $30 at my local gun shop .

Yes, they do!! I bought some .357Max Dan Wesson ammo from em, they had a weird way of ordering, but it worked!

After two boxes of factory ammo, I added a set of 500 dies to my collection. They are so much cheaper, and you can load what you want.

Thats all I'm buying.2 boxes its bull what they want for ammo anymore in anything.Up till the 500 I didn't think about reloading,but it looks like I'm gonna have to.2 boxes should get me though hunting season and sighting in.I'm going to have a 405 Winny built like Quickdtoo.If I want to try different bullets I got to reload anyway.Dave.

Check with wisconsin cartridge. I think they are alot cheaper.

Thanks alot guys I wanted to get Cablelas bulk,but I didn't want to spend $200 at the moment.This is what I'm looking for 100 350 gr'ers for less than a 1.00 a pop.Looks like I found where I'm going to buy my 500 ammo.I'll tell my friends about this place.I do appreciate all the help I get from everyone.Thanks,Dave.
