OK, I've heard it from three folks, the .243 HANDI RIFLEs don't shoot good!

Is it so?  I'm planning on getting one for deer hunting in MO and to take to the PD shoot.  And to kock off some coydogs in the south forty!

I have the 7.62x39 handi and it will out shoot my .243 handi and my savage 110 .243 all day every day.

I had a 243 standard contour that was a true tack driver.  Shot the federal fusion 100gr bullets great.  I would highly recommend it based on my experiences.

My 243 (standard contour) shoots excellent, 1" and under with cheap Federal Power Shocks.
Handloading for it has been fun too. I have read some had a little trouble out of them, but many others that have shooters too...

Nope, they aren't shooters, just ask a few of us!! ;D The Superlights can be real finicky, but even they will shoot good if you work with em and find a load they like. Most .243 Ultras and Handis shoot very well. To name a couple besides mine, Mitchell's shoots extremely well with handloads, Mine and Statelinerut's shoot very well with factory ammo, even Howard NZ's superlight shoots sub moa......nope, they're terrible......from any game's point of view, that is!!! ;)

Haven't used mine for hunting yet, but at the range it shoots well.  I have shot both 80 and 100gr bullets.  But to be honest I can't remember the size of my groups.  I just remember I was pleased, that means it lived up to my expectations.  Quess I should start keeping records.

My bull barrel I sold mitchell was a great shooter...This group was 1 of 4 I shot as fast as I could reload it...and after it was very hot...

...and mitchell has it shooting 1/4" groups with the 55 grain Silver BT's...
