Savage Accutrigger

I took my Savage Mod. 11 to the range yesterday. Every third of forth round chambered, the trigger would lock up. I noticed that the bolt latch would click and pop up just a hair, then the trigger would be locked up. I could raise the bolt handle and close it and the trigger was fine. This could be a real problem if I was staring ole Wiley in the face. Any ideas why this is happening? It will do it on an empty chamber as weel as live round.

Try increasing the trigger pull a little bit and see if the problem goes away.  It sounds like the trigger is releasing, but is stopped by the safety block lever and locking up.
