Haul Road trip this weekend ... any updates?

I'm heading up the Haul Road this weekend. I was wondering if anyone has an update. My last trip was  September 1st thru 10th ... plenty bou, lots of hunters, and no snow back then. Does anyone know what I can expect this time? Thanks, in advance.

I frequent about three other forums besides this one.  I have not seen many posts on the Haul Road that are current.  One person was up and did not get anything.  That is about it.  I would start glassing past Gabrith Lake (spelling) and stop at about 279 mile.  Stop there and walk east on the ond access road to the pipeline bury pit.  You can see a lot of the back hills from there.  If there is nothing around I would start north in the rolling hills just north of there for single bulls.  The rut should be going on soon so things may change.  Might want to shoot a cow if they are in rut.  Bulls are not known for the best of flavors once the rut starts.
