.221 fireball in stevens 200

i would like to have a .221 fireball but i need to know if i can buy a .223 model 200 and set the barrel back or locate a .221 barrel already so chambered?

Depends on how much money you want to spend but these are the low end. You can also get barrels from Sharpshooter Supply, Brownells that are threaded and ready to install. More money.........more better.

You may need to find a correct magazine box filler as some guys who have done .221 s and tried to used the .223 box had feeding troubles until they made changes.

Just buy a Remington 700 Classic in 221 if you want a nice platform for that caliber. If you can live with a single shot, buy a Contender and order a custom shop barrel in 221.
