which one?

 time for everyones opinion. I've been cruising the gun/pawn shops in my area lately and have the urge to buy another handi. I have a wood stocked .223 ( "the everything rifle" ), A sidekick, and the wife has a synthetic stocked .243. I dont really "need" a deer rifle, as I have the sidekick, and the .223 takes care of all the local varmints. But I have the urge!! Gotta feed the beast!
 Whats availiable locally is: New .25/06 ultra rifle $250.00, New .308 ultra rifle $250.00, Used 30/06 standard $216.00 numerous .243's new and used $180.00-240.00. Any opinions?
 I kinda like the Idea of a .243 so I could share ammo with the wife, The .308 intrigues me, but I have heard of alot of people not being able to get very good accuracy out of that caliber for some reason. A friend of mine has a 25/06 and really loves that caliber,but ammo is expensive around here. The 30/06 would be o.k. but why spend that much on a used gun when I could get a new one for 30 or 40$ more? AHHHHHHHH! Help! Lets hear your opinions.

If the 25/06 has the 26" barrel , get it , you will not be disapointed . choice # 2 would be one of the 243s ..

where are you at that you can get a new 25-06 ultra for $250. here where i am they are $299 used.

Sportsmans Warehouse in Albuquerque, New Mexico standard handi 219.99 ultras are 239.99 plus tax

Same here!! Walmart sells the Ultras for about $240 also, Handis are $200-$212.
