These were recovered against the hide on the offside of my 2006 bull mooose (west central Alberta).
The first bullet is a 225gr Nosler Partition, .338WM that hit the bull in the stomach (my hunting partners bullet). Typical partition performance with the lead blown off the nose of the bullet; usually Nosler's have a bit more of the lead left then this though. Not much left of this one.
The second is a 400gr Hornady IL from my .416RM that hit the spine dead center, blew up the spine and then travelled the rest of the way to stop on the hide. I think this is pretty impressive considering it hit that thick bone in the spine.
The .338WM and .416RM are fine moose calibers.
