Hi, Ramrod here.

Stayed away from this site for couple of years. Got sick and tired of all the "expert" posts about those  "buulett proof" deer that need something on the order of 3000 lbs energy to kill them. That's the mark of a lousy hunter. I like to keep it simple, the damn things don't shoot back!

I wondered what happened to you.........glad your back........and yes, deer are now bread with a double top secret "kevlar" gene that makes any round that doesn't start or end with magnum ineffective..........This gene mutated from deer found near the Oak Ridge National Labratory who eat plants exposed to nuclear waste.  That's also why their eyes glow in the dark.

Saw some of those deer at Dugway Range the last time I was out there. Reminded me of a girl I dated in high school.

But, that's another story, as they say.

Thanks, VC. I always wondered why the eyes glowed. Probably makes them easier to spot from all them black helicopters I keep seeing around here. Good thing they don't seem to breed well with my local soft skinned deer.
