My Savage 93 .22WMR
« on: October 12, 2006, 05:19:38 PM »
went to my gunsmith for a trigger job because these rifles only turn down to 2.5 lbs and that wasn't light enough for me on that light a rifle.  The 1.5 lb trigger made the rifle shoot a little over an inch at 100yds.  Next we installed a weaver base on the left side of the stock near the end and installed a Swat force tactical flashlight, from Cheaperthandirt.com , and man what a critter killer at night.   Just took a ride on the cart around the farm and got a coon, a possum and well thats all I can mention...This rifle also has Millet see through mounts and a Simmons 22mag 3x9 scope to enhance the fun.  Did the same thing on a Stevens .22lr autoloader and the flashlight interchanges.   You might want to try this on your Savages..  FYI

My 93GL  has the accutrigger and shoots just a bit over one inch at 100 meters with it's favorite ammo.
