CREATURE OF SPENCER CREEK
« on: October 12, 2006, 02:59:30 AM »
Hi gang

Here is the account of the bigfoot hunt of 14 days we just finished. Hope you enjoy it.

The report I`m about to tale you, is an accurant account, that happened during our 14 day hunt for bigfoot, from later part of Sept---1st part of Oct, 2006.
Spencer Creek, even the name sound forboding, especially when the sun goes down. Their was 5 of us, age bracket was 35, all the way to 61. That 61 would be me.--all experienced hunters, all carrying high powered weapons, more for protection, than anything else. All (except for me) are strong men and could make any hard core marine, break out a sweat, trying to keep up with them. We were all equiped with night-vision scopes.
The region is ripe with lots of animals, such as poisionous snakes,. Mt.Lions, deer, wild hogs,  and yes----a mysterious creature that very few have ever seen, but have heard at night, especially when its a full moon night. The creature is called Bigfoot.
The first couple of evenings, and nights, (we hunted till 4 O`clock in the morning), We keeped hearing the far off tree knocks, and they would be in return answered some further distance. Now for those that don`t know what tree knocks are,--well, their the bigfoots, knocking on the side of a tree, with a tree limb. The sound resonates through out the woods for a mile or so, and sometimes, you can hear it even further. It sounds, like someone is hitting the side of a tree, with a baseball bat. Sort of a signal,Its a communication form they use. Dont know what it means, except, we think it may-be a locater. Like where are you---I`m over here. Or it could mean, their are a bunch of dumb white hunters in the woods, again, be careful. Or it could mean, food is over here. What ever it means, it is a communication form they use. That in itself is spooky, cause you now know, that they have intelligence. An intelligent enough, that they havent been harvested yet by anyone, to prove their existence.

We split up into three groups, two to a group, me by myself, makeing the almost third group. They tracking the sounds, at night, me takeing the high ground, and observing, any movement, that might show itself. And no, I couldn`t fire on anything at this point of the hunt. The first couple of nights proved to be pointless, lots of tree knocking and hollering, such as hoot-owls, peacoke screams, all made by the creature`s. Yes creature`s, their was more than one. But we had not reliable sightings at this point.

Now the next couple of nights, we changed our strategy, and took to still hunting, thats when the fun stuff started happening. One of the team, saw a dark tall form, walking the edge of the creek. He was approxa 75 yards away, pitch dark with the exc eption of a almost full moon. We all came upon the area, but the creature eluded us. none of the rest got a view.

The next night one of the team members had just parked on the public hunting side, and was getting organized when a bunch of yahoos, walked up behind him shining spot lights all around and not knowing he was their. They were either poachers, or bigfoot hunters, cause he heard one of them say,( look their`s eye shine), refering to the tail light of his truck. LOL, then they retreated or as he said, ran like hell to get out of their, LOL

When the full moon the next night we, had a total of 3 encounters, along spencer creek and to the lake. The 3 encounters were sightings at 3 different locations, by 4 of the team members. All said they were black shadowy figures, anywhere from 5ft to 7ft tall. We had 6 camera`s scattered around everynight, not one bigfoot ever came by the camera`s . However did get some nice pictures of some really nice bucks, that I didn`t know was their.

The next night or day10, I think it was, one of the members came under attack, while investigating an area along the hills. He was set up on private property, in a stand, in thick woods, when he heard branches breaking, and foot steps in the leaves, coming towards him at 02:00 A.M.The moon was at its fullest, he was also the only one of the group, that had no nightvision. He said the creature circled him three times, breaking limbs the whole time, and makeing a grunting sound, like an ape would make. After the third time, the creature, ran towards him, and then would stop the attack and throw rocks, in his direction. He got a visual several time, but could not take a shot for all the tree branches. As a side note: I forbid any killing or shooting of one of these creatures, unless it is a clear shot placement. We don`t want a wounded bigfoot out there. But thats another story. The party was armed with a Remington pump shot-gun with 00 buck. But the creature never followed through with a full charge. More of a bluff charge. The rock throwing however were real, and getting very close, so the hunter retreated, the creature followed him for aways, and then left him along.

The next day the member had to depart for Kentucky, and had a very good time, (His first time ever or seeing a bigfoot).
The sleepless nights were catching up on everyone, so we took the next nights, off and just caught up on some much needed sleep. After getting some much needed rest, we didnt have as much luck, but did find a foot-track, a small 5 toe foot track of maybe a small boy or girl?  bigfoot along the bank`s of the creek. That was weird, cause we didnt see the parents, tracks, but the grasses and foliage was thick on the banks, and we assume that they were close by, and little junior, have a little freedom. Matter of fact, we did hear rock throwing in the water, on night, like someone skipping rocks across the water at 01:00 A.M. could have been the little one.

Well thats my account of the Crature of Spencer Creek hunt. I know I probably left out some stuff, my mind ain`t what it use to be. I hope you enjoyed it, and it is a true account

Interesting story...thanks BM.

Dr. Wallace, D.G. & I have done extensive work in that area since last March as the activity appears to have taken a westward tack of late...a boat is very useful as well.

BTW, you might wish to check the ODWC regulations for what weapons are legal (especially at night) on Oologah WMA & the COE lands managed by the department.  This year's regs clearly state that NV scopes are illegal in Oklahoma.  Also, a CWL is required if handguns are to be carried on department lands for times other than gun deer season.  I'm not trying to be argumentative rather just some friendly info as the CO (Henry) may be someone to confer with especially if you plan on carrying anything other than a CWL weapon or shotgun with pellets larger than #6 lead shot on department lands at night.

Good luck.

Like I said, wasn't trying to be a wisearse rather hoping other BF guys wouldn't get the wrong idea and cause themselves a LE headache.  Case in point, "Fireman's" disregard for the ODWC/COE regs about riding his ATV on department lands (last summer) will cost him ~$300USD when he gets caught.

Thanks for the great story, sounds like a very fast 14days and I bet that you are ready to go again.

Thanks Glanceblamm, you and Powdermann are great and I`m glad you enjoy my true tales. And thanks for backing me up on here. I got more good stories to bring up, and I think you will enjoy them as well. As far as T.g. goes, I think he`s just lonley on that big old site, that he has all to him self. LOL    It seems pretty dead over there, ;D

Anyhow I`ll hang around, and maybe we can get it back to the way it was before, when we all use to have fun. Maybe even get old Nonya back over here. LOL, I know he has his own site, but when he hears I`m back, he will come to visit, and maybe harrase me. He does it in humor and in a fun way. We both have fun.

GB,

You're right, I'm just way too worried about 'ol BM!   ;)

BTW, D.G. & I are currently working follow-up on two (2) sightings/events that have occurred in NE Oklahoma within the past few months.  One is where a couple (fishing) was screamed at and became so unnerved they exited the place at a dead run.  The second one is an actual "class A" (FTF) sighting and we're in process of conducting additional interviews and gathering additional documentation/evidence.

Both will be posted ASAP on the new site and we've forwarded a batch of pics (unrelated to these incidents) to the site administration folks to have them put up for viewing.

I do apologize to everyone for my part in being so slow in getting the new site up and running.  We lost Dad a few weeks back and with the things you have to do (am executor) it takes a lot especially when it's a long distance situation.  Add that scenario with helping my son with a couple of situations (he's in process of being medically retired from the military due to injuries he sustained while deployed in Iraq) and I've been a bit under the gun, so to speak.  Not making excuses just thought y'all ought to know.

Hey guys,
I have a well-founded notion that some, and perhaps everyone, involved in the verbal shooting match would like to get past it and back to being cordial again--even friends.  As for me, I would like to go to Spencer Creek and be more afraid of getting trounced by a Bigfoot than shot by a rival Bigfoot hunter.

By the way, check out www.gbofreeforums.info/Bigfootstudy.

By the way, if you have an interest in indian habitation sites and artifacts, check out my new forum:  www/gbofreeforums.info/Raysplace.

Telahanys g son. I need some way to shorten, or abbreviate your handle. Don't know about the other site. Hope you post your stories and pics here, you've had some interesting experiences too. I buried my brother inlaw today, friends for 27 years. I'm sorry about your sons injuries, please tell him thanks for me for doing his part in serving our great nation. My wife is in charge of sending boxes every month to our brave men and women in the service of our nation. Those who say they support our troops, then whine about the job they do, are NOT supporting OUR troops, but our enemies. Once again, please post some pics and stories here. Hey everyone,
I had a wonderful time at bullets place. as always. i have been to his place 5 or 6 times now . this time there were several of us. as always i prefer to be in the woods alone. once i even was walking around in my socks trying to be quiet.haha i am not wanting to debate legalities here, just to share all that happened. I had purchased a gen3 night vision scope and had it mounted to a 270 rifle. but even though i could see good, them boogers still don't just step out into the open and say shoot me.haha had some incredible encounters. was a longer outting than normal, spent 2 weeks  there and all but a couple were out in their turf till early morning. doug and his wife were the best at making me feel at home. fed me good , and basically let me come and go to research and hunt.tried  some new baits.(new to me anyways) my wifes urine soaked in tissue haha

hey bullet,
everything that happened would take a long time to post.so i will tell it one happening at a time.after a week of staying in a tree stand, or small trailer i made to pull into the creek bottoms with my atv,i spent one evening on the creek area just off the lake. all i was doing, was sitting in my truck and listening with a powerful parabolic.i was there on a back road along spencer creek towards bullets place sitting in total silence. then i heard a dog coming through the woods running around making all kinds of racket.soon it came around my truck and i saw it. so i just sat there quietly. then i heard a couple of goobers crunching through the underbrush like bulls in a china shop.well the dog was running and scared up some water fowl of some kind.now i passed some men fishing while coming into the area, i'll bet they appreciated all the noise too. so i just listened to these dudes coming closer and closer up behind my truck.i had backed up to the woods, but was blocked by a bunch of scrub.well these guys come creeping up and i heard one of them say "isee eye shines" "do you see that red eye shine?"  well they were so close to my truck and i could see their flash lights panning back and forth towards the back of my truck. i just laughed to myself at how amateurish they sounded. they alerted every wild animal for miles around of their presence. well the eye shines they thought they saw turned out to be my tail lights haha and when they realised it, they started whispering.lol like nobody already knew they were there. so they high tailed it out of there. it must have been someone just working their dogs. because if they were bigfooting... those bigfoot have nothing to worry about.

:D :D :D :D :DNow that`s funny, I could just see old bigfoot passing by and seeing you, and then hurrying back to the family unit, locking the doors to his bigfoot house, and telling his wife, (Dont go near that stand, there`s a crazy guy up there in his underwear, in paint on his face, and I think its the human mateing season), LOL,  but yes you are right there was a bunch of them nights, that is was hotter than hell in them woods.

Telahnay’s g’son

I am greatly sorry to hear that your Son substained  injurys while defending our rights and freedom. Please give him my greatest thanks for his part as this PRIVILAGE called freedom would not be possible without him.
Our Church fully supports these efforts and sends boxes to the Troops monthly.

Also my condolences to you on your Fathers bereavement. Both of my parents are still living but I was at my wifes side when she lost both her parents within a 2yr period. It is a rough time like you said, but hopefully will make for a closer knit family as it did in our case.

Your hunt sounds like one of intense strategy. Seems like there would be a lot that you can do but also a lot that could go wrong just like Deer or Coyote hunting.

Those Tree Knocks: Do you ever make some yourself to check for reply’s?

Your Approach To the area: Do you pay attention to the wind? Do you believe that “look outs” have been posted?

Bullet Maker\Fireman

Your hunt sounds like one of intense strategy. Seems like there would be a lot that you can do but also a lot that could go wrong just like Deer or Coyote hunting.

Those Tree Knocks: Do you ever make some yourself to check for reply’s?

Your Approach To the area: Do you pay attention to the wind? Do you believe that “look outs” have been posted?

    Hi glanceblamm

Yes we have made the tree knocks, usually we try them, when we havent heard anything for awhile. Most of the time we get no response, but sometimes we do get a response ===way down in the canyon. For instance, I was fishing down in the bottoms, one summer, and heard two rocks, being slammed together in a code type rythm ---like----knock knock-----knock----knockknockknock. So I did the same thing to the thing makeing the sounds. To my surprise, it answered me, I answered it back, then all was silent for about 15 minutes, and then all of a sudden not 10 yards, to my south in heavy cover came this low-rumbling-growl. like grrrrrlllllllrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrlllllllllllll. :o Oh yeah,  it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. I instantly grabed my 444 Marlin rifle, and got steady for a charge. I waited for what seemed forever. Nothing happened, so I leaft in a hurry.

I dont know what the message I sent to the thing was, but it came and growled at me. I`ve never done that again. I think they are so fine tuned to sounds, that if you make one--(a sound that is), they can pick your location, and come right to you. And they ain`t going to be coming in plain sight, that you can see them either. Their going to sneek ever so slowly, and methodically, right up to ya.

I dont pay no attention to the wind, like I would for a deer hunt. The reason is, you dont know where there at anyhow. I`ve had my scent blowing right in their face, and still see one, he didnt even know I was around, and walked approximatley 75 yards from me, broad daylight.

Do I think they have look-outs posted?  Most definatley.

i will relate what happened one evening ,as it relates to possible lookouts.or at least their ability to be all around you and not know it.
me and a researcher from florida were staying in my small trailer in the bottoms, we got set into the trailer about dusk and just sat quiet while listening with parabolics. after what seemed like forever, we were really uncomfortable from the heat. i mean sweating like a sauna. the other guy was shedding his clothes, and since the trailer was so small, being in there with a half naked man was not appealing to me. so i suggested we go ahead and open the trailer and step out to air out, since nothing was happening anyways.so we stepped out and stood in the darkness talking for about 30 to 45 minutes, still not hearing anything unusual.but as we started climbing back into the trailer, and i grabbed the ramp door to lift it up... we heard a loud peacock call close to us and 2 or 3 different varieties of owl calls all around us. so i said to my partner"get ready they're here". all we got were some rocks tossed at the trailer and slowly all the owl and peacock sounds moved together away from us towards the west. now what makes this so cool, was that two days later in the morning, a hunter said 6 deer came tearing out of the woods with some owls making all kinds of noises, he said it was like the owls were scaring the deer out. now this is a guy who doesn't know about or speak about bigfoot, he just tells us what he has observed, and tries to attribute every happening to normal wood animals.(like a large buck was breaking tree branches  and grunting at him.haha)

BM. Sometimes you are a might slow of thought. It's rather plain to me that when you tree knocked and was answered that the one on the other end was a large bull bigfoot. You musta sounded like a loverlorn sexy female to him. It's plain to me that he followed your love call. Imagine his surprise, and anger when he closes in, expecting a purty lil ol gal and a good time, and finds YOU instead. No wonder he growled. Ain't saying you're ugly of course, just not his cup of tea. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey powderman

You maybe closer to the truth than you think :o, like I`ve said before, we dont know what all of them tree, and rock knockings are saying. And funny thing is,---when I was makeing them knocks back to the creature, I thought of just what you said. LOL, I mean---there can`t be that many of them, sooooo---he might be taping out a louuuve call ;D. the thought did cross my mind. LOL
