plastic residue removal

What are the methods and materials that some of you guys are using to remove the plastic residue creating by sabot loads?

Either a Hoppes Tornado brush and liberal amounts of elbow grease or a regular brush and rod chucked up in a drill.  Either method works great.  I prefer the drill. ;D
