Son and I each bagged one today
« on: October 07, 2006, 02:35:42 PM »
I was selected for the feral hog lottery hunt at Back Bay NWR near Virginia Beach.  Got to take my 12 year old son.  We each got one hog; his was 58 pounds dressed and mine was 56. Not huge, but we had a great time.   Used 00 buckshot.  My second hog, his first.  He is definitely hooked on hog hunting.  I think we will make this a family tradition!

That's one happy kid.  Congratulations, and keep that tradition going.  The only thing almost as good as starting a tradition like that, will be cooking up those tasty young hogs. ;)
