Appears to be spread by saliva and no one knows how long the stuff can remain viable outside the deer's body?If it eats off a bush, can the bush still infect another deer two days lateror until it rains?   Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Be careful everyone.

"Appears" is the operative word there.  Mainstream science for years has failed to adequately address environmental factors in CWD genesis or dissemination.
