Remember, in 1960 the Communist Party of the US said they would take over one of the political parties. Take over the education system to push socialism. Take over journalism, to twist the news to the left or make it left leaning. Take over more liberal churches to pull them further left. Push gay and trans as being normal to mainstream. Take over the entertainment industry to push socialism, free sex and drugs, etc. Get young people interested in sex, drugs, and alcohol. Do everything to destroy the traditional family. All this was so they could usher in socialism without firing a shot.
Modern liberals do not believe this or they are part of the problem.
In 1960 the owners manuals of cars showed you how to adjust the valves. Today they tell you not to drink the battery acid. Most young people do not know how to change a tire, but call their insurance or AAA to get it done.
Today young people have to have "safe places" In 1944, they were storming Omaha beach. In 1960 a kid delivering newspapers could save his money and go to a hardware store and buy his first 22 rifle. Not so today. America was safer, less regulated, and had more freedom than today. Why, because 50% of Americans attended church, and marriage was still held in high respect and regard. Women didn't have to work. Kids were taken care of by their mothers not dropped off to daycare all day long.
