no I would never ....lol I picked it up in a trade for her.. we are planing a mule deer hunt and I want her to have a little more then her .223..... Not my falt she thinks its too heavy.. did not fit her frame anyway so i picked up 2 more in a secound trade Now I have A 243... Im ok with that
My Missus did take a fair sized mulie in Wyoming with her Mohawk in 243 Win. She is an excellent shot and the bullet( 100 gr Sierra) did full penetration. She shoots other calibers and I prefer she goes with the larger ones. That Wyoming hunt meant a lot of walking and the Mohawk was the lightest rifle to take.
