Well.....FWIW.......Im thinkin' that whatever happens I just will have to keep at least one H&R so I can legitimately stay on this addictive site, its worse, in a better kind of way, than the rifles.

I reccomend that you trade one of your Handi's for a case of Harley oil and then ride the Harley on a small trip. ;D ;D ;D Digger

Since Richard has all them receivers and no barrels, maybe he might want to get with Tim and start a "share a receiver program" for all us less fortunate with extra barrels.
My culled down Handi's are the 45-70, and then I have a few others to keep it company...357 Mag/Max. .45 LC/.454 Casull Carbine, .243 Ultra, and 20 gauge Tracker II.

There are no such things as 'extra' receivers or barrels,
only barrel challeged receivers or receiver challenged barrels.

DD,

Are you suggesting Richard's scooter leaks oil or that it is a 2 cycle? ::)

all of you are missing a very significant point ! The point is what excuse is Richard gonna have for "makin' shims" now ???

No no!  It's a good thing!  I durn near turned into one a them full blown al-key-holics what with all the shim stock 'speramentin!  Thank heavens I can now get back to my one 6 pack a night social drinkin...  :P

you can have 100% confidence in anything written by Bikerbeans, its the rest of these fellows you have to keep an eye on.

'minds me a that ol' John Birch sayin:  Everybody's a communist 'cept me and you... and I ain't to sure about you!   ;D

atllaw sense of humor struck me funny.

"sense of humor?"  What you talking 'bout boy!?   >:(  I don't got no sense of humor!  Just ask any defense attorney in Atlanta!   ;D

Since Richard has all them receivers and no barrels, maybe he might want to get with Tim and start a "share a receiver program" for all us less fortunate with extra barrels.

Now wait just a min-ute here!  I gonna get a 30-30 barrel to rechamber to 30-40 (again!), and a 357 rifle which will give me a SB1 receiver for my .410 barrel (and open the door for other shotgun barrels!   ;) ), then the 357 will become a Max for the second receiver,  which will leave me only one receiver.  That one already fits an extra .270 barrel I have!

But I understand Tim got plenty of receivers!   ;D

There are no such things as 'extra' receivers or barrels, only barrel challenged receivers or receiver challenged barrels.

::) cummon Blake!  You ain't gone "politically correct" on us have you!?   :o

Me on a 2 cycle scooter...  ::)  that'll be the day...  ;D

Atllaw,
This query of how to match all of these receivers and barrels sounds like a good test question in a 'Permutations & Combinations" class!

My quandary, I personally, don't think I have enough Handi's but, I know I have more Handi's than I really need or should have.

I have resolved the one remaining receiver quandary!!!!   ;D

I am about to begin my search for one of the rare Profino barrels made by Marrynred!   :o  If I can find one the caliber is immaterial!   :P

I don't know why this didn't occur to me before...   ::)
