The Ruger No.1 is NOT perfect...but if you own one, you ARE pretty close to Paradise!!
Actually, the No.1 IS a great rifle... beautiful, well made, versatile, very good handling, available in many calibers (some are old/obselete), different barrel lengths, etc. However - it is not a target gun to shoot 1/4moa groups. It is capable (sometimes with a little help/tuning) MOA grouping - and it does it in Style!!
Now if they would bring back the No.1S model with the 26" barrel, iron sights, and more choices in calibers ....THEN it would be Perfect !
