Sorry, I haven't been on for a while. I got the pin, the retail price was about $10 but when I got the invoice it was actually about $3. I believe I wasn't charged more than $10 for the part and shipping.
Rather than buy the tools to fix it I got smart and took it to a gunsmith. He explained that if I have the thing open, with a single shot, it always pays to replace the spring as well. He believes the spring got weak and that caused the failure.
I'm waiting for a call to come and pick it up so that I can finish sighting in and maybe go look for some of the long range jacks I saw this weekend.
