Unconstitutional? The whole damn thing is unconstitutional beginning with George W. Bush's initial bailouts. I have said from the beginning they will get this health care bill done, and it seems they are on schedule to finish it. It will be quite interesting to see what the American voter will do, if anything. The Republicans will "undo NOTHING". It is not their nature, to do anything more than posture and promise. Dangerous, yet interesting times.

While I'm not pleased about Obamacare costing me more out of pocket, I'm not really thrilled w/the Republicans on this issue either.

Republicans kept saying over and over that "something" needed to be done about healthcare costs and they threw out a few ideas (tort reform, ability to cross state lines) but I never once saw a  comprehensive alternate plan (complete with cbo numbers) that showed exactly what Republicans wanted to do, how they would do it and what it would cost.

I'm not happy about paying $100.00 per week for my family's healthcare and while I'm sure that Obamacare won't lower my costs the Republicans didn't offer anything to help either.

In my eyes, both parties are a joke........

$100/week is cheap if you are covering 100%. Seriously.

That's just my out of pocket weekly payment.  The entire plan totals $20,000 per year between my $5,000 out of pocket and the companies $15,000.

Will the ones who voted for this be re-elected? - Unfortunately probably. Maybe one or two won't but I'm afraid most will.

Where will all the bad doctors go to work now? - Government heathcare facilities. It'll end up being a form of welfare for them.

If the vast majority of Americans are against the health care bill, why did 69 million (53%) voters vote for Obama? Especially after he said that he wanted to implement national health care. Can't figure out how people vote for a socialist, then complain when they implement their socialist ideas.

I think most of the complaints you hear, are the 47 % that didn't vote for the Socialist!

Still dirt cheap IMHO if you have kids; ie guaranteed to need lots of doctoring.

I don't think I'd call that "dirt cheap".  I still have to pay co-pays for doctor visits and prescriptions and luckily none of us have had to be in the hospital (that's when the huge co-pays kick in).

The big O knew there would be court challenges to this law, why do you think he gave the veiled threat to the Supreme Court members during his State Of The Union address a few weeks ago?

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Threats? Did you hear the GOP's threat against any Rep that voted YES? It was not veiled. Basically, if they voted YES, ANY bill they put up would get shot down. Didn't matter how worthy it was. Could have been for funding cancer care for kids, could have been for sunsetting AWBs, didn't matter, if you cut a deal, anything you wanted to accomplish as a politician was dead.

I find this court thing fairly entertaining. The courts cannot even get Obama's school records or birth records opened. How in hell does anyone believe you can get a state to successfully defeat the federal government. As soon as the Feds threaten to cut the state aid off, that will be the end of it.
The next election everyone will run from the Democratic voting window to the Republican voting window. The Republicans take back the house, and senate, and will promise and posture, but do absolutely nothing to reverse this mess (as usual) but, everyone will feel better because the Republicans are back in charge.
Then when the economy finally crashes, everyone will blame the Republicans again, and everyone will run back to the Democratic voting window, and it will be their turn again.
By the way. States rights ended with Abraham Lincoln.jmo
