Chas.

Where did you order the brass one.  The only one I have seen is on Midway's site, and it looks really awful - pretty roughly cast.

A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.

I haven't.  It seems like someone said a while back, that the fella that makes this one, will be making brass ones at some point.  That's what I'm waiting on.

On a related note: If I buy a forearm from GSI, will it come with a forearm spacer or will I have to order one from a different source?

I think a steel one case colored would really set all of the BCs off along with the older shotguns.

Can I order them from H&R?

Anyone know the answer to this question? If not, can I order them from another source...other than on-line?

The steel TG and spacer used to be available from H&R, but they were discontinued and they ran out of them a couple years before Gardner closed, but one member said he got one from them recently, maybe they found some during the move, part numbers are in the FAQs. Right now Talley is working on making them, last I talked to Gary he said they were in the final stages of setup, said he would call me when they were available, that was a month ago.  :-\

Blued alloy at first, then if all goes well, steel and hopefully brass.
