I picked up an SB1 with scope base and synthetic stocks for 239.  (The new 357s are SB1 shotgun frames, with small firing pin) I think the SB2 with wood and iron sights was 249 but none available around here.  Bowie outfitters had a great price on a 45-70 synthetic for 219.

$280 is to high you can buy new for 220 to 250 I wouldn't pay over 200 for used.

I gave $249 for the .44 on the SB2, about a year and a half ago. But it is only being offerd on the SB! frame now. Good luck.

Badnews Bob, where are you finding those prices? I may have to drive down your way :)

Walmart , Whittackers, Buds, local pawn shops Thats just what they go for around here, I just bought a new cinamon lam H&R .308 for 289.00 out the door regular handies usally go for 40 or 50 less than the H&Rs.   I think other places jack em up for no reason because people will pay for them.
