500 mag-one 8 point-0

Today was the opening day for our Primitive Weapon Season here in MISS., I hunted a green feild next to some large red and white oaks this evening a 8 point buck came out into the feild at about 4:45 out about 100 yards, one shot with the NEF 500,

Those .500's seem to be some pretty good deer medicine.
Was it a bang flop??  What was the load??
You know we want details!! ;)

Spanky, thanks for the return, yes it was a Bang Flop, hit was at right behind right shoulder a little low but a good lung and heart shot,he dropped and did not run, the load was 42.5 Win 296, 325 grn Serria Bullet, 3 x 9 Bushnell Banner Scope.
