Are 4350 and H4350 close enough in burn rate that their load data is interchangeable? I've got a good load for IMR 4350 but I want to H4350 because it's one of their "extreme" powders. My Lyman manual (47th edition) doesn't show any data for the Hodgdon powder.

While they are close H4350 and IMR 4350 are NOT the identical and data for one should not be used for the other. This is one of the primary safety rules in reloading. Even in the same brand and different lots you need to start low and build up. Rich P

Don't exchange them. Thay are close but different.

Hodgdon is a great manual to have on the shelf too

I agree with you about changing because the H4350 is one of the "Extreme" line of powders... it meters better too because of it
s smaller size, but like the others, I would not interchange the data... I have a brand new Hodgdon manual, and if you want to email me, I will be glad to send you the data you need... I don't post data, but if you twist my arm, I can be talked into emailing it... Dave
