Been leaning on the reloading press real hard lately. The past two days I've loaded 600 rounds. I now have 1300 rounds loaded up for the .223s and have another 500 for the .17 HMR. Will probably load about 150 more rounds and call it good.

Still don't have every thing I need tho. My order for the Burris Signature Offset rings needed to sight in the dang Savage .17 HMR still haven't showed up but I contacted them today and they are to reship asap. I'm still waiting on the shooting bench I decided on too. Reckon I have about every thing else all rounded up.

Now if me and Dennis can just fit all our stuff and the give away prizes in my truck when the time comes. That will be a sight to see us packing it all in.

Me and Dennis will show up in Hooker some time on next Thursday also. We'll definitely be there for whatever happens that night. Like you we only tell true stories and never ever stretch the truth.

Glad to hear the leg has gotten better hellacatcher!! I to0 hope that all drive carefully and get there safely( and back home afterwards also!) As far as tellin the truth....I find it hard to believe that a bunch of guys can get together and spin tales and NOT tell the truth.....now if  a few cold adult beverages were involved then I can understand a little "embellishing" to help make the stories more ...."believable"....

See ya'll there and happy Memorial Day!! :D  :D

The best laid plans...  really cutting it close.

Bringing 3 Handis, 223, 17HMR, 17M2, all are new.  (Didn't have any varmit calibers).  Finally got the scopes and rings arrived and mounted on the 223 and 17HMR.  No time left  to mount scope on the 17M2, still bringing it, have to do it there.  But went to the range this morning to zero the 223 and 17HMR.  Guess What...  the range is covered with boy scouts and has been all weekend.  No shooting...  no zeroing...  Will have to do it there, since DJ and I are leaving tomorrow morning.  IS THAT CUTTING IT CLOSE ENOUGH.

Oh, the 4th gun is my Ruger Bisley 45 Colt loaded with shot shells for the snakes I heard OKlahoma has some places.  Is there any laws for a holstered revolver or rules that Wes needs to hold us to.  I will abid by Wes's rules whatever they are.

Mike.

Rules for the First Annual Handi-Holics Prairie Dog Shoot:

RE:  Wes's Rules

Rule No. 1:

Don't shoot Wes

Rule No. 2:

Don't shoot Wes's truck

Rule No. 3:

Don't shoot each other

Rule No. 4:

Don't shoot the big slow deer.

I don't think there'll be a problem with you carrying a holstered revolver.  You're going to be out in a shooting/hunting environment.
