I'm happy with my 44 mag Handi

I got a new Leupold scope last year for Christmas and mounted it today on my 44 mag Handi. Shooting 240 grain Winchester White Box ammo. A few rounds at 50 yards had me pretty close. I moved out to 100 yards and shot 3 rounds. The gun is more accurate than I can shoot it, but should do well on Indiana whitetails.

 Congrats on the deer killer.  My boy is carrying a 44 as well. Where are you in Indiana? We have a Indiana forum, stop by  ;)

I have the black plastic 44mag and it won't shoot nearly that good with the white box Win 240 JSP. Mine shoots about 2inch group at 50 yds and 3inches at 100yds! You have a very good rifle and have avoided the hassle i am going thru to find an accurate load for my 44mag handi. Want to sell it??? JUST KIDDING. Looks like Santa really took good care of you with that leopold glass!
 It is a good thing i reload or i would be stuck with an inaccurate rifle!! I have improved my groups to about 1/1/8 inch at 50 yds.

big fan of the forty four and have alot of experience on game with those white box win. loads ... Groups like that with that load equal full freezers ;)
