Man, that has to feel good.......now you can forget the troubles that got you to this point.
Maybe now you should just skip all the foolishness and go straight to a BC Target Mdl 38-55 or a 45-70.

the repair/replacement work was done at remington arms company, inc.  madison,nc.
they received the gun on 5/6/10 and called me to choose a new cal. barrel less than 1 week later.they replaced the 204 fluted barrel with a standard 22-250 barrel, and they also adjusted the trigger pull.  total cost to me was $25 for the shipping. the gun was shipped out 5/18/10  i got it back in my hands 6/2/10  not bad at all.
from 1 to 10 i would rate there service a 10
;D ;D ;D ;D i will try to get pic of the target up   i need my ol ladys help to do that ;D

Customer Support is in Madison, they only have offices there, no repair facility, Ilion is where all the work is done including barrel fitting. ;)

I like the 22-250 too. I have one in a bolt gun and it's a shooter. You're right about the bark... it is pretty loud. :o I don't think you'll have any trouble knockin' over 'yotes at 200 with it.

Years ago a friend of mine used a 22-250 for running deer and varmints.  We found out that if he used a ball powder like H 335 it became even louder and had a brilliant muzzle flash as well.  He used that combo when shooting standing deer where there were shooters on either side of him.  The blast shook them up and made them shoot poorer.

Congrats on the shooter!  I want a 22-250 one of these days, really have wanted one since I was a teen back in VA. and my cousin got one for ground hog hunting.

As far as knocking down yotes at 200yards, no problem it will have more than enough punch.  It will knock a deer off it's feet at that range.  Have fun!
