Spotted 45lc BC at local shop
« on: March 11, 2010, 12:28:35 PM »
I saw a 45lc BC at a local shop today for 249.  I was afraid to get it in my hands or I might have left with it.  Should I go back?

I want to see post #2 saying "I had to go back and bring the poor baby home."  That's an excellent price, don't let it slip away.  DP  PS, Welcome, now go get it!

You know, there's an ethics thing going on here.

If you can't get it, or don't want it (yup, right), you should give it up for one of your fellow Handiholics.

Let us know where, it can & will be rescued before it goes to some - "it's cheap, I'll buy it to stick behind my truck seat & I won't be at too big a loss if I throw my loggin chain or spare jack on it" - gun abuser.

Give it up or go get it!!  Do the right thing!

Its home. 250 OTD (minor scuff on buttstock).  I shot about 10-12 45 Cowboy specials out of it. They hit high and 5-6" right at 25y.  200 rnfp w/ 5.5  w231, not loud and not particularly accurate. Came home and converted it to the Big 50 BC.  The 500 SW barrel fit this frame better than the one it came on.  Williams rear and Shorty ramp front with XS blade.  Will try to shoot it that way tomorrow. Trigger pull is twice that of the 500 frame

Just a question for those who know better than I.

Is the .45LC BC Carbine frame an SB2 frame?

Yes, same SB2 frame that comes on the Handi and Ultra, just has case coloring.
