free slugs

hello & happy holidays to all  a friend of mine gave me a couple of boxes of brenneke slugs. there rottweil goldenslugs 3in magnums in 1&3/8 oz for 12 guage . picture on box looks like there rifled, but says there for rifled barrels only. does anyone know about these ? are they ok to shoot in rifled barrel? i bet they have some nice recoil.   thanks billd

Did some digging around the web. These are designed for the rifled barrels. They are saying they are really good in a rflied barrel, But some have had decent accuracy to 75 yards in smoothbores.

 3" is going to be a little stiff, no matter what the brand is. ;)
