If I was single...

You hit nail on the head there.  If I was single I'd be typing from wyoming and not an Indiana housing addition.

It seems odd, but what did primers used to sell for in a 1000 pack?  Wasn't it in the low twenties or very high teens?  I don't mind spending another $10 than what something's worth, but I just can't see throwing $20 or $30 away

Last month I opened a box of 1000 to load up some .40 S&W. The price tag on them said $14.50.

I just opened a box of Federal small pistol magnum primers I picked up in a box of stuff I bought from a guy getting out of reloading that were priced at $17.95, I think from 18-24 months ago.  Could have bought a replacement box at the gun store yesterday on my way home for $32.95.  I guess the new blue box makes them worth near double the price of the old red box...  ::)

Getting ready to open a box of CCI small pistol primers from about a year ago I paid $25 for.  Box I picked up about a month ago were $34.95.
