I have "roll yer own" 240gr Hornady XTP setting on top of a max load of H-110. I bought a box of magtech 240gr SJSP and they seem to shoot good in my Handi, not as good in my lever gun. Will be trying LilGun instead of H-110 later this year. It works great in the 357 mag and also in the 45 colt loads. H-110 is so fine it tries to bind up my Lyman powder dispenser where LilGun doesn't. Since I use the Lyman for everything, I want to use powder that works good in it. I haven't made any lighter loads for the 44 mag, but if I do I will try W 231 or Hodgdon Tite-GROUP as they both work good in the 45 colt for lighter loads. DP
