WHY I LOVE MY HANDIRIFLE

IM SITTING HERE EATING VENISON/MUSHROOM/AND ONION SOUP ..from the first handi-rifle kill i ever made!..i bought it last Feb, and took a forkhorn with it on wed...
WHY I LOVE MY HANDI-RIFLE....
1. IM A KLUTZ...i mess up anything mechanical...im jerky at best with bolt actions, semi-s are annoying, and while i like levers, they have a lot of moving parts....my handi-rifle is SIMPLE..its just like the old single barrel iver johnson shotgun daddy bought me when i was 12....i can load, unload itin my sleep...
2.I can clean it soooooo easily...............
3.Its short, only 38 inches...perfect in a treestand!!
its a 30-30.very accurate.........it kicks so much less than my bolt 30-06....
4.it feels like an extension of my will..........ive got a 25 dollar BSA 4x on it, those fat reticle lines are great with my poor eyesight......
5.I hunt in the woods...avg shot 40-50 yds....never had to shoot over 100..
6.Its a 2003 model..ejector !

Sounds like a winning combination for you!

You may regret owning it, and having initial success with it.   It will lead to further barrel purchases, which will lead to further barrel purchase, which will lead to further barrel purchases..... :)

THEN after you realize what you have done, you will just give up and buy
some more barrels and probably a complete gun or two. Sorry, ;D that

Congats on your deer sbarefoo! I totally understand why you like the Handi so much.
They also usually shoot as good or better than guns costing ALOT more.
If I happen to get a scratch on mine while hunting I'm not going to have a heart attack about it.

You know you are going to have to get more Handis. ;D You named of several reasons I like Handis. They are simple and they are single shots are just a couple. I think they handle just great and feel solid to me. Oh and congratulations on that deer too. Great shooting. Good Shooting and Good Luck.

Whats not to like , low cost , shoots well and you can always use them for a boat paddle if need be .  ;D

I have had a fixaction for single shots for many years , mostly shotguns but when I got my first Handi rifle it was all down hill from there .  :o  :o  :o  ;)
