I thought we were talking "big caliber"????   I don't see anything above .30 caliber mentioned above.  "Big" to me means "big" and .30 caliber just does not meet that definition.   Lets talk .338, .35, or .375.

We agree. My CZ in 9.3X62 puts 286gr.partitions doing 2400fps or so into 1 1/4"-1 1/2"   @ 100yds. I'm totally satisfied with that.

With my CZ in .458 using 500gr. solids I can hit watermelon sized rocks off hand at to 100yds or so. Good enuff.

My Remington 700 .375H&H shoots right around MOA out past 200 yards.  It's enough gun for anything on the planet too!
