what did you do on the fourth

i worked on a new deck for the second house till noon than took a 300 mile ride with the wife on the harley. had ribs in the smoker all day waiting for us to get home. no fireworks. i was beat and in bed by 8pm

 Quiet day with family, caught president's speech that was given at Mt Rushmore on the third.

  Usual big fireworks down at the lake, half a mile away. ...But by time that started, considering my dislike of fireworks, I was in my house catching a documentary on TV.
