I have three of them. One is on a Rem 700 Varmint that is about 12 years old. The cheesy HS Precision POS that came with the gun broke the first time I used it. Same thing happened to other people I know as well. Remington and I reached an agreement: I threw them a few $$ they put a McMillan on the gun for me. Its been pillar bedded. Shoots great (if you call 5 shot groups of varmint loads measuring .32 great). 2nd gun is a Mauser with a McMillan...used and abused for 12 years, looks perfect. Last gun is a competition M1A. Awesome stock, used and abused, painted by Wayne at Oregunsmithing a sagebrush color. None of these stocks have had any issues other than the hunting rifle which has their "wood" grain pattern on it......it has come off in spots. Mike McMillan told me they quit making these stocks in wood grain, and would replace the entire stock anytime I wanted. I told him no thanks, I'll live with it.
Spendy stocks, good company, good service.
