guess I need edumacating

I've got yotes to howl twice....but I haven't seen one yet,so I guess i'm doin' somethin wrong....anybody recommend a CD or cassette that will teach me the ins and outs of set-up and calling........any advice appreciated

i want to educate ME,NOT the 'yotes :D
Good shot placement + well constructed bullet = DEAD

Bladerunner, go to the coyotegods website. There is a good tutorial on set-ups and hunting in general. If you post there, step lightly, they are a very close knit group that does things their way and expect you to do the same. They are also some of the most knowledgable coyote hunters on the net, they kill big numbers every year.
 Pick everyones brain that you can find, and learn from their mistakes. It takes time, but everything will start coming together. If they are within hearing distance, they are coming in. You may not see them but they are there. You made a mistake and they saw you before you saw them. I have called two in that slipped in on me and then sat and watched me. When I moved the rifle to get the shot, each just slid back into the woods at the same place.

Good luck, after groundhogs, coyotes are my favorite thing to hunt.

Qaz,thanks for the info.....the coyotegods website seems chock full of information and insight......it'l take me a few days to even really scratch the surface,but i'm sure it'll be worth it
 
I'm definately NOT giving up or anything,just don't want to "tip off" my local population   :wink:  :D
