DOES ANYONE KNOW?
« on: April 18, 2005, 12:48:25 PM »
Last Saturday I seen a couple of puma 92 lever actions in a local gunshop. One was in 44-40 and the other was in 454 neither one of these had the safety on top or the plastic plug in the tub. Does anyone know if LSI has corrected them to problems?

I don't know for sure, but I had a .454 Puma ordered for me in Feb, and it still had the plastic follower and top safety, so I doubt it.  There are a couple of gunsmiths that specialize in the Puma, I know of one in TX who sells them slicked up with those mods, and another in VA that does similar work.  Don't know about if they sell them to stores if they weren't custom orders.
