Anybody know what the avg. price is on a Savage 110. Have a friend asking $300 for a 22-250. The guns had 40rds through it. It doesnt have the accu-trigger. I thought it was kinda high.

yeah i would say it was high. if your just wanting to help out a friend in need its not that bad but i think you should be able to get the accu-trigger for less.

I bought a 110 package gun which has a simmons scope, during one of walmarts clearance sales for $250, NIB.  This was late September early October of 04.  Caliber .270 Win..........

In this neck of the woods, 300 shekels is about the norm at the gun stores for a used 110 w/o Accutrigger.  Have not seen any used models with Accutriggers on the shelf to comment on those prices. You might do better than 300 but I'd say you could do far worse.

There was a lefty 111GL in 223 at the Indy gun show this past weekend.  The guy had it priced for $329.  His best offer to me was $300.  I told him the gun was only worth $250-$275 tops.  It was in good shape but not NIB.

I just bought a .270 LH 110 Savage with scope, base and rings from a dealer off of Gun Broker for $225.00. Of course by the time I had it shipped and paid my dealer I had close to $260.00 in it. We do not see many LH rifles used around my area. My dealer had a used right hand 110 in 30-06 with no scope on the rack for $395.00 for several months!! Every time I went in I commented that it was too high. One day I noticed it was gone. The dealer told me he sold it for $375.00 plus tax!

You may want to keep a check on the pawn shops.  I've had pretty good luck finding decent deals at some of them.  Don't offer the tagged price, but don't be unrealistic, either.

I recently picked up a very nice Savage 110 with a Simmons 3X9 for $230 + tax at a local pawn shop.

Look them over good, there is a lot of junk out there as well.
