The simplest thing to do is get a Timney trigger.  You can get the sportsman model for about $30 if I remember right from several places.  Makes a world of difference.  I have had two Mausers that I built adjustable triggers for but nothing works like an aftermarket trigger.  Timney and Bold are just two of the cheaper ones.  I have each and could not be happier.

Ditto Donaldo. I highly recommend the Bold. Well worth the $ and makes the mauser shoot its true potential.

I use 3 Bold triggers, 2 swedes and 1 turk mauser. Love them all.

I can't tell any difference between the Bold and the Timney.  Actually have forgotten which rifle has which.  They are so close to the same, I would just go with which ever was the cheapest.
