Well,I've never owned a Ruger rifle;have had Remington and Winchesters.I personally think it's a "toss-up".I like both pretty much the same.....but since I have to make a call..it will be Remington  .....Rick

Remington - Ruger - Winchester

:D I've owned all three at one time or another.I've had 2 Winchesters and they were decent rifles but I didn't miss them when I traded them off.
I have a couple Remingtons. One I enjoy very much and the other is giving me problems getting good accuracy. I have a Ruger now and I've had one before. I like the ruger I have now but the one I had before had accuracy problems I didn't know how to fix at the time.
All three companies can make some good rifles and do.
I never had a functioning problem with any of these rifles.
I like the winchester and ruger actions better than the remington. They seem sturdier. The remingtons still seem to hold up fine. I know you can get good out of the box accuracy from any of these but you can also get poor accuracy too.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy any one of these brands if I liked the particular rifle.
I also like all my reworked mausers.
The Rugers have given me the most problems with accuracy but I may try them again.
