  Correct Lloyd;
   It is a shame that a nation set aside by God as a home for His worship, should get so confused. Surely, some have been led astray by "pop culture", which is only a
  fleeting reflection upon reality.

     Today the term "Easter" is gradually losing use among Christians, not because they see the event any differently, but because the term  comes from Ishtar, a pagan
   goddess...Ishtar later being gradually morphed into Easter.

      Ishtar was the "goddess of fertility", which is why it is symbolized by eggs and rabbits.

       Some sectors of the church during the 2nd century tried to win pagans over by using her name to coax them into the fold, a mistake.. So we prefer to use the term
   "Resurrection Sunday", which more adequately explains why Christians consider this day, to be perhaps the most sacred of the Christian year..

   That doesn't mean we kill the kiddoes joy by forbidding the eggs and chocolate bunnies...but rather, just explain such things to them.

   That being said, especially at this time in American history, we are being challenged by a spiritual warfare..

     It is the same age old struggle which has been fought for at least 2,000 years, the struggle between god and the evil one.

  One major difference however, is that in our past our nation had full churches and a populace rather well versed in what the Bible teaches us.

   Today sadly, that desertion has produced so many church buildings abandoned this part of our historical character.

   They have been so abrupt in their desertion, that now the desertion has gone so far that some previous church buildings are now mosques.. shame on us !

   Now is the time for those who have deserted, to get back where they belong on Sunday...and bring their families with them !  A sound footing for a family...
